The last two matches have been better for Manchester United and they will be out to extend the same when they host Arsenal in their next game. Going into this game, five points stand between the two sides; Arsenal fifth on 23 points and Manchester United eighth on 18 points. It hasn’t been great for United in their recent matches, they get to this game with just one win in their last five matches. In Premier League action, they have one win in eight, but after their draw with league leaders Chelsea, they will feel quite capable of taking on this challenge.
Arsenal go to this game having bounced back from the defeat by Liverpool in a 2-0 home win over Newcastle United. The Gunners lost their opening three matches of the league, but after that they’ve only suffered one more loss, which gives them the right impetus going to this game.
These two sides were on opposite ends of the league standings in the opening month but Arsenal are at their best at the moment and will be looking to add to United’s woes. Ahead of this game, and banking on recent form, Arsenal will definitely be favorites, but United have a different push now, with a new manager and right from two impressive outings. Both teams have seen a lot of goal action in the second half of their recent matches and we will stick with this also having the most goals in the second half.
